Task 1

Time to Glog!

- For this activity you will travel around the school in pairs taking pictures with the digital cameras of things you think we 'want' and things we 'need' to survive. 

- Then you will create a glog of things you want and things you need using your pictures. You may use video clip from the next task  and text in your glog also. 

- Make sure you differentiate between needs and wants. 

- You must describe the Child right that this 'need' signifies. 

For example a picture of food would signify the right to food.

Lights, Camera, Action! 

- Before we look beyond the school we are going to see what we think about how we deal with Children's Rights here in St. Anne's! 

- In pairs, ask your partner the following questions;

1.Are your rights respected in this school?

2.What rights do you think school gives and provides you? 

3.How could we promote rights in the school?

- You will record this using the digital cameras

- Then you can upload it onto the laptop and edit it. 

- Later on we are going to put all of your answers together in a class video clip and upload it onto the blog!
